A photograph of the former site of the house at 466 Oxford Terrace, taken from the site next door. The house was demolished after the land was zoned Red. Wire fencing has been placed around the site as a cordon.
Residents living in Canterbury's red zones are praising Labour's plan to help them recover from the effects of the region's earthquakes.
There is now a single appeal fund being managed by the New Zealand Red Cross to help those affected by Canterbury's earthquake.

There is some beauty in the desolate and near empty Dallington Red Zone.
