A photograph of the earthquake damage to a block of buildings in central Christchurch. The basement of the buildings have collapsed and the concrete blocks have spilled into the car park. Large cracks have also formed in between the blocks in the walls of the building to the left.

Thank you". There is also a diagram of the first and ground floor of the art gallery. The Christchurch Art Gallery served as the temporary Civil Defence headquarters after the 22 February 2011 earthquake.

A video of an interview with Jenny Beecroft and Warren Beecroft about the housing shortage in Christchurch. Jenny's daughter Selena Beecroft had to move into Jenny's house with her two sons after the 22 February 2011 earthquake damaged her rental property. Selena has epilepsy and can only move into a rental property in walking distance of her work and her children's school. The family is one of many living in difficult situations despite the government's claim that there is no housing crisis in Christchurch.

He mentions that Australia has updated its travel advisory on Christchurch to say that it is as safe as the other cities in New Zealand. The video also includes footage of Parker poling a punt.

The photographer comments, "I only managed to get one picture of the badly earthquake damaged Christchurch Cathedral and I did not want to get the buttresses holding it up like some Medieval siege engine, so I thought this one was perfect. An earthquake-damaged road in north-east Christchurch. The manhole in the centre of the road has risen and a road cone has been placed in the centre to warn road users. Residents have piled liquefaction from their properties on the side of the road where it will be collection by road maintenance contractors.

Polson's decorators and sign writers.' The building that was adjacent to this one was demolished after the Christchurch earthquake and revealed this fabulous old wall sign.

The photographer comments, "I do not know what Poseidon Extreme at this swimming pool looked like before the earthquake damaged it, but it looks really radical now during it's demolition. A strange coincidence is that Poseidon is referred to as 'Earth-Shaker' due to his role in causing earthquakes. So the demolition of this pool due to the series of quakes in Christchurch all seems to be foretold by the gods and that sign".
