The Residential Access Project gave residents temporary access within the red-zone cordon in order to retrieve items from their homes after the 22 February 2011 earthquake. Scaffolding which was erected after the 4 September 2010 earthquake has also fallen. Wire fences have been placed around the building as a cordon.

The video includes footage of car sirens going off, earthquake damage to the shops on the corner of Barbadoes Street and Edgeware Road, the Westende Jewellers building on the corner of Worcester and Manchester Streets, the Repertory Theatre on Kilmore Street, the Asko Design Store on Victoria Street, and a building on the corner of Colombo and Byron Streets. It also includes an interview with Christchurch resident Quentin Garlick.

The top of the water slides in the QEII swimming pool, exposed by its demolition. The slides themselves have been broken off, leaving only the entry points. The photographer comments, "After assessment of the damage caused by the numerous earthquakes in Christchurch, New Zealand they decided to demolish the QEII stadium and it's swimming pool".
