Workers eat lunch at an outdoor table next to the Gap Filler Community Chess Set on Colombo Street. The Chess Set was a collaboration between Gap Filler and students at the University of Canterbury. The project aimed to restore the iconic Christchurch Chess Set that used to be played in Cathedral Square.

The wheelbarrows will be used by student volunteers to clear liquefaction from Christchurch properties. They have been spray painted with the Student Volunteer Army's so that they are not confused with those the students have brought themselves.

A photograph of a sofa made out of car tyres and a pallet at Rock on Eastside on the corner of Aldwins Road and Linwood Avenue. Rock on Eastside was a outdoor lounge and art space facilitated by Gap Filler and Youthtown. The sofa was made by students from the University of Canterbury Student Volunteer Army. Painted rocks have been placed in front of the sofa as decoration.
