A path between the new Cashel Mall shopping area and Cathedral Square was opened this weekend and about 1000 people have gone through every hour. It's the first time this section of city has been open to the public since the 22 February 2011 earthquake.

Refers to the reopening of the Christchurch strip club 'Calendar Girls' after more than a year inside the central-city cordon. The building suffered minimal damage but was inaccessible because damage to neighbouring buildings meant the road (Hereford Street) were closed.

The ruins/remains of what was the third highest building in Christchurch, pre earthquakes, the Price Waterhouse Coopers building in Armagh Street. At 76.3 metres ( 21 floors) the demolition has left the basement (now flooded) and these supports.
